The implementation of the measures in the safer, cleaner and greener 5 Admirals trials starts Monday 6th Febuary 2023. Our consultation is now open! The Neighbourhoods Team, Newcastle City Council. Trial Measures (Experimental Traffic Regulation Order) Using Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders (ETROs), we will make the changes to your local streets, with the public consultation running for the first six months. Public consultation starts from 6th February until 13th August 2023. During this consultation period, please let us know what your views are on whether or not these changes should be made permanent, and whether any other measures are needed.

Five Admirals is live!

We are developing plans to improve neighbourhoods across the city, aimed at reducing traffic on local streets, including Five Admirals Estate. 

With less cars cutting or speeding through streets, the area is more attractive and safer for people who live there and for children to play out. 

This also encourages more people to walk, wheel and cycle on short local journeys, which is good for everybody.
